Bill Labhart
Before forming Labhart Miles Consulting Group, Bill served clients and businesses in the following capacities:
Public Accounting
• 15 years in “Big 4”Industry
• 7 years with Phillips Petroleum CompanyGovernment
• 6 years with the Missouri Dept. of Revenue.Bill has provided such services as strategic tax planning, transaction reviews, audit resolution, nexus analysis, and credits and incentives consulting in state income/franchise, sales/use and transfer taxes. His clients include companies in the following industries: retail, manufacturing, distribution, construction, technology, utility, healthcare, natural resources and financial institutions.
Bill has served as a speaker for various organizations, including Tax Executives Institute, American Petroleum Institute, American Society of Women Accountants, San Jose State University, local CPA organizations, and as an instructor at California State University at Los Angeles. He is an editor for the Current Developments section of The Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives.
Bill received a B.S. in accounting from Pittsburg State University in Kansas.

Monika Miles
Before forming Labhart Miles Consulting Group, Monika served clients and companies in the following capacities:

• 1 year with Security Capital Group.Monika has provided such services as federal and state income/franchise tax compliance and consulting, sales/use tax consulting, audit support, and credits and incentives reviews. She has served clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, construction, utility, retail and financial institutions.
Monika has served as a speaker for various organizations, including local CPA groups, the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA), Lorman Group, and San Jose State University. Her professional affiliations include the AICPA, Texas Society of CPAs, the National Association of Women Business Owners-Silicon Valley, and ASWA, where she has served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the Silicon Valley Chapter, and is currently serving on the ASWA National Board of Directors. She also contributes to state tax publications such as The Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives and has contributed to ASWA’s The Edge magazine.
Monika graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a BBA in Accounting/Finance and has a Masters in Taxation from San Jose State University.
